The Wine Cellar “Soledad” is situated in Fuente de Pedro Naharro (Cuenca), it was founded in the year 1958 with 59 partners and a total production initially of 2.000.000 kgs. of grapes.

Fuente de Pedro Naharro is a town in La Mancha founded in the second half of the XIV century thanks to an initiative  of a feudal Sir named Pedro Naharro, (his name in reality was “Pero Navarro”), he settled down oround an existant huge natural fountain. Historically speaking this town belonged to a county from the Santiago Ordre being Uclés the main twon in the area. This fact gives its identity to the whole area.
Nowadays, the Wine Cellar has 426 associates and a capacity of 26.100.000 litres. In the last campaign (2003-2004) 27.500.000 kgs. of grape came in.

During all these years, and considering the continous development of the Cooperative sector, the Wine Cellar “Soledad” have made big investements adquiring new equipment, as a consequence of the big entrance of grapes, and the increasing number of partners, and because of the worries they have about improving the elaboration process and the final quality of their wines.

Traditionally its biggest source of business has been until now, the selling in bulk of its products, but in the last years they are impelling the selling of bottled wine.
