The Cooperative “Nuestra Señora de la Soledad” possess 2.700 hectares of production vineyards, with an average age of about 25 to 30 years, in very light, fresh and privileged soils as far as the composition of the soils is concerned they are calcareous, sandy, and pretty deep. The altitude is of 750 mtrs. above sea level. The climate is cool and for that reason a lot of rain is not necessary,(about 500 mls. a year). The summers are very hot and dry,with important thermic differences between day and night, this allows a good ripening of the grapes and shows that it is an ideal area  to cultivate quality grapevine.
